On Dec 17, 2021, the long anticipated movie, Spider-Man: No Way Home, was released.
No Way Home picks up right from the previous movie Spider-Man: Far From Home. The main focus of the film is Peter Parker learning how to navigate his teenager life after his identity of Spider-Man was revealed by Mysterio.
With it at top four in the box office grossing to $1.7 Billion worldwide, No Way Home has come to be a huge success that has been shown much love by many Spider-Man fans.
33 El Camino students who have watched the film ranked No Way Home on a scale from one to ten. The average ranking came out to be a 9.4 out of 10.
Della Baldwin (‘22) is one student who personally rates the movie a 10/10.
She expresses why the movie deserves the perfect rating.
“The nostalgia, the inclusion of all the past actors of each of the other Spider-Man movies, and the plot in general,” Baldwin explains.
Many other students’ responses agree with Baldwin’s opinion on the best characteristics of No Way Home.

For multiple years, there has been a debate on who was the best Spider-Man, whether that be Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, or Tom Holland.
After a month of No Way Home being released, EC students filled out a form of various questions on who they believed was the best Spider-Man.
Out of 33 students, 45.5% voted on Andrew Garfield being the best Spider-Man overall.
“…he portrayed so much emotion and how he did so much for everyone just overall makes him the best Spider-Man,” Valyn Showalter (‘23) says.
Although Andrew Garfield was voted best Spider-Man, Tom Holland was voted best Peter Parker.
“Tom Holland perfectly embodies the awkward teenager with a big heart,” Abby Wahlquist (‘22) wrote.
Winners of the five other questions that were asked:
66.7% voted that Tom Holland has the best Spider-Man movies.
46.9% voted that Tobey Maguire has the best movie villains.
72.7% voted that Tom Holland has the best suits.

57.6% voted that Tom Holland has the best love interest.
According to the responses, most voted that the worst Spiderman movie was The Amazing Spider-Man 2 with Andrew Garfield. On the other hand, Spider-Man: No Way Home with Tom Holland was voted the best.
