Rachel Lewis is one of the new ceramics teachers at El Camino this year. She’s always had a passion for art and now she can experience it with High Schoolers for the first time.
Lewis received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. She earned a degree in art history and minored in studio art. Soon after graduating, she completed her teaching credential in art at Sacramento State.
“I wanted to do something where I can share that passion with other people and teach it to them and hopefully inspire other students to become passionate about it as well,” said Lewis.
