Spring sports are currently in the final weeks of the season, with many gearing up to compete in final matches and championship games.

Tennis’ league season is over, and some of the players will be attending Sections.

Boys volleyball has had a successful season, with a league record of 10-1, solidifying their first place position and a spot in the playoffs. Currently, the only league game they’ve lost was their senior night match against Rio Linda on Wednesday, Apr. 15. They have one league match left, taking place tomorrow at Casa Roble. Varsity starts at 6 pm.

Swim has also maintained first place in league after going undefeated throughout the season. The team will be competing in a championship meet against all teams in the league tomorrow at Woodland Aquatics Complex, starting at 10 am and lasting most of the day. The team hopes to bring home the championship title for the second year in a row. Swimmers with qualifying times will then go on to Sections, where they will compete with swimmers from other Division Three teams in the Sac-Joaquin Section.

Softball has a home game today against Casa Roble, with varsity starting at 4:30 pm. Softball currently stands at sixth place in league. Their senior night will be on Apr. 28 against Rio Linda, also starting at 4:30 pm.

Baseball has had an unfortunate season without a single win in league. The boys are hoping to turn their luck around in their next two three-games series against Dixon and Casa Roble. Their next home game is tomorrow at 4:15 pm against Dixon.

Track also has a home match tomorrow starting at 12:30 pm against all the teams in the league. Golf has a match today against Rio Linda at Haggin Oaks Golf Course at 3 pm.
