El Camino’s co-ed tennis team is coming to the end of their league season, most recently winning 8-1 at Casa Roble on Mar. 26. Tonight, the team will honor their seniors on their senior night against Dixon. Come support the graduating Eagles tonight, starting at 3:45pm at home.
Baseball will open up their three-game series against Destiny Christian with an away game today, starting at 4:15pm. Most recently, the team lost to Union Mine on Apr. 1 in the ECHS Spring Baseball Classic, hosted at El Camino. Their next home game will be on Wednesday against Destiny Christian, starting at 4:15pm.
Softball is coming back from spring break after a 0-18 loss at Dixon on Mar. 26. The team is now 3-6 overall, and 2-4 in league. The girls will play today at home against Rio Linda, starting at 4:30pm.
The boy’s volleyball team has managed to keep their undefeated streak, now 6-0 in league. Most recently, the team beat Mesa Verde in a non-league matchup on Mar. 26. The boys will play tonight at home against Destiny Christian, starting at 6pm.
Yesterday, the boy’s golf team lost to Bella Vista at Mather Golf Course, 239-269. The team will play at Mather again today against Casa Roble, teeing off at 3pm.
Track has officially had their first meet, that being on Mar. 25 at Dixon. EC’s girl’s varsity team came third overall, with the girl’s 4×400 relay coming second in the event. The team has their next meet tomorrow at Casa Roble.
Finally, swim won their most recent meet on Mar. 26 at Natomas. The team will host their senior night on Thursday against Woodland, starting at 4pm. At the meet, dinner will be sold for $10, and the proceeds will go back to EC’s aquatics program.
Admission costs $6 for students with ID for all home athletic events.
