Most spring sports have officially begun their competitive season with boy’s volleyball being the first to do so in their home foundation game win against Del Campo on Feb. 17. The boys are now 3-3 overall and 2-0 in league, where they have not yet lost a single set. Support the team in their next league match tomorrow at 6pm against Natomas at home.
Baseball is looking forward to heading into league, going 2-1 in their non-league games. Most recently, the team beat Valley Christian in a comeback win on Mar. 5. The team will face their toughest matchup of the season, as named by the team, Sutter, next week. Come support the Eagles on Mar. 16 at home. The game will start at 4:15pm.
Softball started out their season with a rough 10-0 loss to Rio Americano, but beat the Raiders in their second game against them on Mar. 3 14-4. Up next, the team has a home game against the Sutter Huskies at 4:30pm tomorrow, Mar. 11, at home.
Tennis is looking to go back-to-back for the Sac-Joaquin Section title, starting off their season 4-0. The team has an away game today at Woodland. To support the Eagles at home, come out to their next home match on Mar. 24 against Rio Linda.
Boy’s golf most recently won their match against Dixon at Wild Wings Golf Course on Mar. 5 242-282. The team’s next match is today, also at Wild Wings, against Woodland. The team will tee off at 4pm.
Track and swim have both begun practice, but have not yet had a meet. Track’s first meet of the year will be on Mar. 25 at Dixon, and swim’s is on Mar. 19, also at Dixon.
