This week, after a 3-1 win at Rio Linda, the girl’s soccer team has officially gone undefeated in league, landing them the Golden Empire League title and a guaranteed spot in the Sac-Joaquin Section championships. Their first playoff game will be at home on Feb. 13, but their opponent has not yet been announced.
Boys soccer also won their home game with one goal from Dylan Fox (‘26) against Rio Linda last night, landing them fourth in league standings. They will also be headed to section playoffs, with details coming out in the next couple of days.
The boy’s basketball team honored the team’s three seniors on Wednesday night in a 82-50 win against Rio Linda at home. Their season will finish up this week with just two home games left on Wednesday and Thursday against Dixon and Woodland, both at 7:30pm.
Girls basketball is similarly finishing up their season this week after a 32-24 loss to Casa Roble on Friday night in their last home game. They have two away games left on Wednesday and Thursday at Dixon and Woodland.
Baseball season is now in full swing with the team’s first non-league game happening today against Union Mine at home at 3:30pm.
This week, boy’s volleyball tryouts will be happening every day after school. For more information about how to try out, talk to Coach Sarah in room 25 or visit the athletic’s office.
