On Wednesday, Jan. 25, Club Rush was held for the second time this school year in the back quad, featuring many of the same clubs from last block’s Club Rush.
Faith Doe (‘26) is the President of four different clubs: Black Student Union, Home Economics, Hip Hop Association, and the Eagle Polytechnic Institute club. All of these clubs except EPI were featured at club rush.
Doe mentioned that BSU had a lot of signups, especially from freshmen.
“We usually have a pretty big amount of signups,” Doe said. “I feel like some people sign up during club rush just to say they signed up.”
Despite this, Doe is satisfied with the amount of members in each of her clubs, as she believes they are all passionate about and actively participate in the club.
Other popular clubs included Lunchtime Intramurals, Latinos Unidos, and Young Adult Reads. During Club Rush, clubs were encouraged to come prepared with a mindful activity in support of Mental Health spirit week.

Most clubs allow students to attend meetings and participate in the club even without a sign up at Club Rush.
Information on all the clubs and meeting details can be found on the El Camino official website. If you are looking to start a club, speak to Shannon Fox in room A-8.
