On April 18 El Camino’s softball team lost to Rio Americano with a final score of 12-2. EC got a total of seven hits, and both runs were scored in the third inning of the game. The runs were scored by Danica Leon (‘27) and Za’Niyah Smith (‘25). A total of 108 pitches were thrown in the game by Emi Kuwabara (‘26) and Oaklee Schwartz (‘26). The team had 20 at bats, which means that the team only batted 20 times. EC softball is placed at 124 in Sacramento rankings. As they move forward, players and coaches remain focused on improvement and are committed to working to overcome obstacles and strive for success.
