El Camino Boys Volleyball competed against Rio Americano Wednesday night in the large gym, losing 0-3. EC had a tough game against Rio Americano, who’s ranked first in the Sac-Joaquin Section. The boys were able to keep their spirits high and continue to fight hard. In all three sets, EC was able to put up over 10 points, and they even scored 19 points in the second set. Both the defense and offense from EC was enough to keep their opponents at bay so EC could continue to score points during the sets. Rio Americano continues their march to playoffs with the win as they are undefeated in Capital Athletic League play.
EC has three more games of the regular league season against good competition including Vista del Lago, John Adams, and Del Campo. EC’s next game is against Vista Del Lago on Monday April 8 at 6 p.m. in the large gym here at EC.
